Michael is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, holding a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and a Bachelor’s Degree in media and communication from New York University. He currently works in private practice in West Hollywood, CA. He is trained in EMDR and KAP. He is also on the board of the group psychotherapy association of los angeles (GPALA). Prior to running his own practice, Michael worked at a variety of residential and outpatient treatment facilities treating both substance use and mental health disorders.
Why: I believe that we heal through relationship—not in isolation. So rather than providing a list of pre-scripted tools, I strive to develop real, authentic connections with my clients. My goal is to utilize specific therapeutic tools uniquely tailored to your needs. My method synthesizes several therapeutic approaches that I believe in. These include EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, attachment theory and KAP.
